The Kopis is all about all-road prowess. With a balanced geometry and ultra-stiff frame construction, the Kopis offers an uncompromising pedaling efficiency and responsive, predictable handling on rough roads and trails. The top tube has a taper where it meets the seat tube, with a carbon fiber layup optimized for vibration reduction. Along with the dropped seat stays, this design feature makes for a more comfortable and compliant ride.

The Kopis offers generous tire clearance up to 700 x 50mm or 650B x 2.1” to allow you to tackle any terrain with confidence. Whether you want to race gravel, explore networks of dirt and gravel roads, or plan multi-terrain epic rides with no certainty of what road conditions are like, the Kopis can do it all. It has the balanced ride you expect from a fast and light gravel bike, and the versatility of a bikepacking and adventure bike.

The Kopis can be built with semi-integrated or fully integrated cables (with special handlebars) for a clean look and aerodynamic efficiency.

Montu Kopis Complete Gravel Bike

The Montu Kopis is available in multiple options:

  1. as a bare frameset,
  2. A dropbar gravel bike
  3. A flatbar gravel bike,

Stock Build Information

Frame: Montu Kopis full carbon frameset

  • Frame 980g +/-40g in size 52cm, fork 430g
  • Compatible with 1x and 2x cranksets with max 53T chainring.
  • Threaded bottom bracket.
  • Braze-on front derailleur mount.
  • Compatible with electronic and mechanical groupsets.
  • Tire clearance: 700 x 48C or 650B x 2.1”
  • 27.2mm seatpost.
  • Flat-mount disc brakes.
  • Straight 1 1/2” head tube (upper 52mm lower 52mm)
  • Internal cable routing and option for fully integrated cable routing (with compatible handlebar, stem and headset)


Stock build information :

Our stock build drivetrain components are based on Sensah SRX Pro 1×11 gravel groupsets. There are several options:

  1. Sensah SRX Pro 1×11/1×12 mechanical disc brakes with a 11-46t cassette and a 40T chainring.
  2. Sensah SRX Pro 2×11/2×12 mechanical disc brakes with a 11-32/34t cassette and a a subcompact crankset (46/30t).
  3. Sensah SRX Pro HRD hydraulic disc 1×12 or 2×12.

The shifting action of the SRX groupset is smooth and positive. The price point of this groupset allows you to have a full carbon bike including carbon gravel wheels sub $4k, which is very difficult to find for any comparable gravel bike in Canada.

Cockpit: Alloy gravel handlebar in 40, 42 and 44cm width options with semi-integrated cable routing (cables almost fully hidden at the front end with the exception of where they come out below the stem).

Wheels: Alloy gravel wheels, 700C, 1800g

Tires: Tire choice depends on our current stock. Our stock tires for 2024 is Maxxis Rambler 700cx45mm

Warranty: Two-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
