The Women’s Canopic Race is the bib that started it all for Montu’s women’s line — and it remains the most popular. The dual-density women’s-specific chamois delivers genuine long-ride comfort while the race-oriented fit keeps everything snug and secure when the pace picks up. Two large cargo thigh pockets mean you can focus on riding without worrying about what to do with your phone, nutrition, or tools.
Seamless bib straps sit softly against skin without digging in, and the silicone thigh gripper keeps the inseam exactly where it should be. Highly breathable, moisture-wicking fabric keeps things comfortable across road, gravel, or mixed terrain.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What makes these women’s-specific?
The chamois is designed specifically for female anatomy — wider at the front, shorter in the central channel, with density variation placed where women need it. The cut and bib strap geometry are also tailored for women’s body proportions, not adapted from a men’s pattern.
Will my phone fit in the pockets?
Yes. All Montu cargo bibs are designed with a full-size smartphone as the minimum pocket size — they hold your phone securely even on rough terrain.
How long can I ride in these?
The dual-density endurance chamois is built for long days. See the chamois page for full details on pad construction and rating.
How does the fit compare to the Women’s Canopic Evo?
The Race has a shorter inseam and a more race-oriented, slightly slimmer fit. The Evo has a just-above-the-knee inseam and a one-piece mesh bib strap — a bit more coverage and a slightly more relaxed endurance fit. Both have two cargo thigh pockets and the same chamois.
Are these suitable for gravel riding?
Yes — the Race works equally well on road and gravel. The thigh cargo pockets are particularly useful on gravel days where you need tools and nutrition within reach.
How does sizing work?
True to size, XS through 2XL. See the fit guide for full measurements.
The original Canopic 4-Pocket is a bib built for riders who go long and carry a lot. Four large pockets — two on the legs, two at the rear — handle everything from a phone and tools to food and a packable layer. The 8-hour endurance chamois has kept riders comfortable across gravel epics and multi-day bikepacking routes alike. Extra-wide straps distribute load evenly and flatlock stitching eliminates pressure points.
This is the Mk1 at clearance pricing. The Mk2 with updated fabric and tailoring is also available.
Built for riders who refuse to stop. The Tefnut integrates a rear hydration bladder compartment and tube routing system into a race-fit jersey — stay hydrated, stay in the drops, and keep moving.

– Compatible with standard 2-liter hydration bladders from various brands
– Additional shoulder pocket for quick access to gels or other small items
– Built-in tube keepers route your hose cleanly from pack to mouth
– Race fit cut shaped for the riding position
– Premium sublimated fabric with flatlock seaming
– Gold and purple houndstooth colourway
– Silicone gripper hem
– Pairs with the Tefnut Reservoir System Bibshort
Choosing the right saddle width and shape gets you most of the way there. But a well-designed chamois pad is what takes a pair of bibshorts from good to great.
The Montu Endurance Pro chamois is equipped with ultra-high density ischiatic pads at a density of 122 kg/m³, designed to block and disperse road vibration while minimising impact on the rider's sit bones.
Having been designed with long rides — up to 8 hours — in mind, it has become the favourite chamois of gravel enthusiasts. The surface fabric is antibacterial and ventilated to wick away moisture and keep the rider dry.

Built for the long ride.
The Montu Endurance Pro chamois was designed with one goal in mind: maximum comfort over maximum distance.
Vibration Dispersal
Ultra-high-density foam is engineered to block and disperse road vibration before it reaches your sit bones — essential for long gravel and endurance rides.
Moisture Management
The antibacterial, ventilated surface fabric actively wicks moisture away from the skin, keeping you dry and reducing friction over hours in the saddle.
All-Day Endurance
Designed specifically for rides up to 8 hours, the Endurance Pro chamois has been proven on gravel events, ultra-distance rides, and loaded bikepacking trips.
