Most cycling jerseys shout. Sublimated graphics, sponsor-sized logos, colour blocking that looks like a sponsorship deal you never signed.
The Kemet does the opposite. It is a single colour, dyed into the fabric rather than printed onto it. Dyed fabric means the colour is part of the material itself: richer in depth, no print layer sitting on the surface, and nothing to crack, fade unevenly, or stiffen the hand of the fabric. What you feel against your skin is just the knit, which is the softest we’ve put in a jersey.
Branding is kept to a small chest logo and another on the rear center pocket. Nothing else. Full zip, three rear pockets, and a clean collar.
Faience Blue. Named for the blue-glazed ceramic of ancient Egypt. A grey-blue that pairs with everything and flatters in flat light.
Nile Green. The green of the river valley.
Lotus Pink. A dusty, desaturated pink drawn from the lotus flower.
Desert Sand. Warm khaki, the colour of the land beyond the floodplain.
We named the line Kemet, the ancient Egyptians’ name for their own country: “the black land,” after the dark, fertile soil the Nile left behind each year. A line defined entirely by earth and pigment felt like it should carry that name.
Pair it with any Canopic bibshort.
