Aggressive yet balanced geometry, 29" wheels, and a frame designed to handle whatever the terrain throws at it.
The Horus is Montu's trail mountain bike — a 29er designed around the kind of riding that actually exists here: rooty, rocky, often steep, yet you have to earn your descents by pedalling your way up. Always worth it. With a sensible 67° head tube angle it sits in the sweet spot between playful and progressive.
Every Horus starts as a custom build. You choose the components, we do the rest — spec selection, sourcing, assembly, and setup. The result is a bike dialled specifically for how you ride and where you ride it.
Named for the Egyptian god of the sky, the Horus was built to climb high and descend with confidence. A fitting name for a bike that refuses to compromise.
Modern MTB geometry is getting a bit silly. Bottom brackets are getting way too low and head tube angles way too slack. The Horus maintains sensible numbers.
Slack enough to inspire confidence on steep descents, without sacrificing the nimbleness you need on tighter, technical trails.
Bigger wheels roll over obstacles more easily, maintain speed through rough sections, and give you more traction on loose terrain.
Consistent across all three sizes — the Horus delivers the same snappy, responsive feeling whether you're on a Medium or an XL.
Every Horus is built to order. You're not buying off a shelf — you're getting a bike specced to your riding style, budget, and the terrain you actually ride.
Built in our Arnprior workshop, every Horus goes through a thorough setup and pre-ride check before it reaches you. No box-fresh assembly guesswork.
Montu was born out of riding trails in Ontario. The Horus was spec'd for exactly that — and everything else like it across the country.
