Bicycle Technician
Job Description:
- Build Montu Bikes to required spec from a frame and parts based on order spec sheet
- Workshop service writing
- Performance of service requests and safety checks on customers’ bikes
- Keep Montu Bikes’ demo fleet and related equipment in a safe and mechanically sound working
condition - Assistance with Montu Bikes outdoor and promotional events
Job Type:
Part-time. Flexible hours!
Salary range:
$19-$30 depending on experience and qualifications.
Expected hours:
20-25/week
Start date:
Immediate
Responsibilities include:
- Bicycle maintenance and repairs
- Customer service and public outreach
- Service writing, record keeping and invoicing
- Follow policies & protocols set out by Montu Bikes
- Additional duties TBD
General Qualifications:
- Extensive bicycle repair skills and general mechanical and shop experience
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors (so both at our workshop and at events attended by Montu Bikes, etc)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interest in cycling
- Strong computer and software knowledge
- Ability to load and move bicycles and equipment
Additional (optional but good to have) skills:
- Familiarity with use of social media platforms
- Valid Drivers License in good standing
- Knowledge of e-bike maintenance
- Experience with electronic drivetrains and mountain bike suspension components

Social Media Specialist
Job Description:
- Manage and grow Montu’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant platforms) by developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy.
- Create and curate compelling content that drives engagement, increases brand awareness, and generates leads.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to customer inquiries, and engage with followers to foster a positive brand image and strengthen relationships.
- Develop and execute social media campaigns that align with the brand’s overall marketing strategy.
- Use social media analytics to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, and make recommendations for how the brand can capitalize on these trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers and other relevant social media accounts to expand the brand’s reach and credibility.

- Quickly become a Montu brand expert by understanding our products and target audiences
- Consistently create new and trending organic content
- Develop, implement and optimize paid social campaigns on Meta
- Identify and execute content collaborations with influencers that identify with our target audiences
- Manage and grow Montu’s primary social media accounts on the Meta platform
- Execute social media strategies aligned with marketing strategy and overall business objectives
- Set goals and report on key metrics to measure success and drive decision making on a monthly and quarterly basis
General Qualifications:
- Experience in social media management and strategy
- Strong copywriting skills and detail oriented
- Knowledge of Meta Business Suite
- Interest in the cycling industry and popular culture
- Independent creative thinker and able to generate engaging content ideas
Additional (optional but good to have) skills:
- Bilingual (English/French)
