The Evo bibshorts are the natural evolution of our endurance cargo bibs, shaped by the lessons learned across the Canopic range and the feedback of real riders. The result is a hybrid that takes the race-oriented fit and slim strap of the Canopic Race and combines it with the storage and coverage of the Canopic Original — then improves both.
New premium fabric delivers a better balance of softness, stretch, breathability, and durability. The Montu Endurance Pro chamois is rated for 7+ hours and the single ultralight mesh strap is airy enough to wear under any jersey without bunching. Two large cargo pockets handle the day’s essentials without needing rear jersey pockets.
The Mk2 runs true to size — a meaningful update from the Mk1, which ran small.

What’s the difference between the Canopic Evo and the Canopic Race?
The Race has a shorter inseam and slimmer 50mm straps for a more performance-oriented feel. The Evo has a just-above-the-knee inseam and a one-piece mesh bib strap for more coverage and a slightly more relaxed endurance fit. Both use the same Montu Endurance Pro chamois and have cargo thigh pockets.
Will my phone fit in the pockets?
Yes — the thigh pockets on all Montu cargo bibs are sized specifically to fit a full-size smartphone, and the design keeps them secure even on rough gravel roads.
